According to reports, KGF: Chapter 2, a Kannada film, is making a comeback at the Indian box office. Bahubali continues to break the record of the first half and Rajinikanth’s 2.0.
KGF is the seventh highest grossing film in India. Rajamouli’s RRR created a huge stir at the box office this year before the KGF. RR has so far earned Rs 1.091.9 crore.
The Hindi version of KGF has crossed 250 crores. The record was reached within a week of its release.
It was decided to gradually divide the planned film into two parts as a normal Kannada film. Director Prashant Neil had earlier told the news agency that all the credit goes to producer Vijay Kiragandur and hero Yash.
Apart from Yash, the film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Sreenidhi Shetty, Raveena Thandon, Malavika Avinash and Prakash Raj.
