Q.Actress Kangana Ranaut has been in the news for a long time. Now they are filling up and in the name of a different opinion. The actor said that the Avengers, a superhero movie series produced by Marvel, was inspired by the Mahabharata and the Vedas.
In an interview with e-Times, she said this in response to the question of whether the superhero characters are modeled on Indian mythology or Hollywood superheroes.
‘If such a question arises, I will approach Indian mythology. Westerners often incorporate our myths into their images. Take Iron Man himself. He is armed like Karna in the Mahabharata. The hammer-bearing Thor can be compared to Hanuman holding a mace. The Avenger movie itself may have been inspired by the Mahabharata. ‘ Kangana said.
Their outlook is different. But the origin of these superhero stories is very much inspired by our Vedas. They also agree with this fact. Like, she said I want to do something real.
Kangana Ranaut’s upcoming action movie Dhakad is all set to release soon. The actor plays the role of Agent Agni. Other important roles are played by Arjun Rampal and Divya Dutta. The film is directed by Rajneesh Ghai.
