There is an atmosphere of Diwali and this Diwali is silver for both box office and fans. Akshay Kumar is coming with Housefull 4. But like a dessert can not be made delicious by just filling it with dry fruits. In the same way, to make a film houseful only with a huge star cast, forceful action and comedy do not mean that it should also do movie entertainment. What the story of the film?
The story of the film starts in London but stops 10-5 minutes in London and reaches Sitamgarh soon. So London’s portion disappears from the mind in the first half of the film. Well, let’s get to the story. The story of the film is based on rebirth. The story of 1419 is shown in the first half of the film and in the second half of 2019. Coming to the story of 1419, Prince Bala (Akshay Kumar) of Madhavgarh has been evicted from the state by his father. Bala is a very cruel and means prince. After which he wants to go to Sitamgarh to take revenge on his father and marry the elder princess Madhu (Kriti Sanon) and grab the entire kingdom. So that he can later take revenge on his father by attacking him. When the prince goes to Bala Sitamgarh, then there is a 5-day celebration to commemorate the birthday of Maharaj (Ranjit) of Sitamgarh.
Upon reaching Sitamgarh, Bala tries to trap Princess Madhu in the trap of his love. Meanwhile, Bala meets Bangdu Maharaj (Riteish Deshmukh), who is a dancer. Together with Bangaroo Maharaj, find a way to find Madhu. After which the entry is made by Dharmaputra (Bobby Deol), the bodyguard of the princesses. Bala also joins Dharmaputra with the princess to trap Madhu and later also captures Princess Madhu with her tricks. Meanwhile, Dharmaputra and Bangdu Maharaj also fall in love with both princesses. Everybody wants to get married. But they do not get married. The reason behind their not getting married is Gama (Rana Daggubati). But why does Gama not let all the princesses get married? What is the role of Suryabhan (Sharad Kelkar) in this whole story? How will this 1419 story look in 2109? How many ups and downs will happen in the lives of Akshay Kumar, Ritesh Deshmukh and Bobby Deol? And the meeting that did not happen in 1419 will happen in 2019? Script / Direction
The weakest link in the film is the storyline, while the strong part is the direction. The script of Housefull has not been made at all with the comedy film in mind. There are only 4 to 5 scenes in the entire film where laughter comes. Otherwise, it seems that someone is trying to laugh forcefully by hitting a dirty joke. The story does not connect anywhere. Emotion does not come. In between, we feel boredom. There is so much action in the first half that you forget that you have come to watch a comedy film. By putting forceful action, the film has been strayed from the film’s main point comedy. Looking at the grand sets of the film, it seems that Bahubali has come to see not Housefull. An attempt has also been made to add a sprinkling of horror in the film in one place but to no avail. At the same time, in the second half, especially in Climax, I have tried very well to laugh. There is laughter when successive knives are inserted into Akshay Kumar’s bomb. At the same time, if you talk about the direction, Farhad Samji has done a great job. Camera angles are also good. Shot in a wide range.
Dialogues.
Boring jokes have been used in the film in the name of dialogue. But Johnny Lever and Chunky Pandey have tried their best to save the boat from sinking. The comic timing of both is as good as ever. Johnny Lever’s dance also entertains by wearing a sari.
Acting.
Talking of acting, Akshay-Ritesh-Bobby has done justice to their roles. If the dialogues of the film were good and punchy, then every character would have flourished. That spice was missing from the houseful, on which the film was made. At the same time, the acting of Kriti Sanon-Kriti Kharbanda and Pooja Hegde did not give that much feel. Talking about Nawazuddin Siddiqui, if his role in the film is only about songs. If someone else had replaced Nawazuddin, he would have also played. Sharad Kelkar has played his role well. Rana Daggubati also played a full-on character. Rana was perfect in the role of the dreaded villain.
Graphics / Cinematography.
Graphics and cinematography have been used well in the film. The graphics used to establish every character at the beginning of the film are also fantastic. The graphics and set of the film are reminiscent of Bahubali.
Music.
By the way, there is no need to tell, but still, the best thing in the film is its music. The background music of the film itself tells half the story. Bala, Ek Chumma, The Bhoot Song and Chammo all do full-on entertainment.
