Ahmad Khan had directed films like Lucker in 2004 and Full and Final in 2007. Now after almost 11 years, the film Baaghi-2 has been released in his direction. The first rebel got a lot of love from the audience. The film also did good business at the box office. Baaghi-2 is a Hindi remake of the Telugu film Shanam. Baaghi 2 Story.
The story of the film is of Ronnie (Tiger Shroff) and Neha (Disha Patni). Ronnie has joined the army and due to some reasons, he has to come back to Goa at Neha’s behest. A girl named Riya, who knows Neha, is kidnapped. In the case of the case, Ronnie meets Osman Bhai (Deepak Dobriyal), DIG Shergill (Manoj Bajpayee), LSD Randeep Hooda in the sequence of events. It can be called Tiger Shroff’s best performance so far. The way Deepak Dobriyal played a Hyderabadi character is a commendable compliment. Darshan Kumar and Disha Patni have also done well. The songs of Atif Aslam coming from time to time make the story interesting. Many such moments come when there is a smile on your face along with seats and applause. “Mundia Tu Bacha Raahi” song has become very good.
Weak Links.
The weak link of the film is the predictable story and length. Had sharp editing done, it would have been even crisper. With this, the climax of the film could have been even better. The songs could have been a bit better.
